Summary:

Well I think you’ll agree there are some pretty good themes listed here, especially as there are quite a few that are responsive themes yet still being offered FREE of charge. This is amazing considering the additional work involved in producing a responsive theme / fluid theme.

The themes listed above are what WordPress lists as being the most popular at the moment, this is a very good indication of the theme quality, because users will not repeatedly download themes with bad reviews. If you notice, we opted for a new theme from this list ourselves (iFeature 5) & although it only gets a 3 star rating, I am fairly happy with it so far, as it fits perfectly with what I am doing on this site.
